KOA Asheville East, Swannanoa, NC
Momma said she thinks we'll need waders to get to our truck. It rained off and on yesterday (Monday), all night long and yes, still raining today. Good day to curl up with a movie or two while we catch up on wash (using our inside the rig washer/dryer) and stay high and dry inside. The ducks don't seem to mind.
I don't think I'd mind being out in the rain either as long as someone went out with me to toss my ball. I know Momma would have the towel ready to dry me off when I returned inside. I just need to convince someone to go out with me.
Looks like it will be an inside game of dominoes..Mexican Train... with Aunt Carol and Uncle Steve. I'll just get Aunt Carol to toss my inside ball for me. I've got her wrapped around my paw. I think she loves to play as much as I do!!
It is now early evening...still raining...and...."What does it look like out that back window Dad?"
Looks like a mini lake behind our rig.
Looks like a mini lake behind our rig.
At least the view at our side door is a tad better.Momma and Dad's phones went off in stereo with a weather alert for a Tornado Warning. Checking the local TV, the recommendation for the people to the south of us was to seek shelter. Whew!! Dodged that one!!
Dad just realized that if we had stayed here only one week, this would have been our travel day.....yuck!! I guess a two week stay was an excellent decision for sure😉
Final report before getting some shuteye for the night.....rain has slacked off and water is beginning to recede. Let's hope the sunshine promised for tomorrow arrives.
Wednesday morning report; Sun is shining as promised. Campground has no city water so we are working off our own fresh water tank. Water has receded or run off so we now have a view of the grass once again. All is good.
I'm Chloe
