Day 4 in Thomasville, Georgia

Sugar Mill RV Park

Chilly is what a few people call this weather, but Dad calls it COLD!!  He just isn't fond of temps in the 50's with humidity to chill you.  He still braved it outside this morning for our morning walk, but he told me not to linger this morning and to get right to taking care of 'business'.  And so I did.  It wasn't long before we were back inside enjoying the warmth of the fireplace as well as the heat pump.

By 10 am they were loaded in the Ram once again.  This time they were taking a tour of the Lapham-Patterson House in Thomasville.  A house with a personality!!

Not only does the house have personality.  Check out our group and compare the photos to appreciate their 'humor'.

The bookend men just can't seem to get in-sink!!  Great group to be with for sure.  Life is never dull!!

You'd be hard pressed to find a square room in this house.
And the stairs are unique with a balcony over the dining room.

We climbed all the way to the third story of this house where our tour guide told us they had once used a pulley system to put a pool table in the room when the room was used as the gentleman's room.

The woodwork, stained glass and ceiling medalions add character.

A unique house with loads of interesting characteristics.

Needless to say, afternoon social hour was held inside the heated clubhouse.  And of course the day wouldn't be complete without a game or two.  Today's game was another rowdy Uno game for 12.

I think they need to teach me that game but they told me when I was a pup that I couldn't hold the cards in my mouth.  It leaves teeth marks.   Guess I'll stick with my toys and keep trying to convince someone to toss them for me fetch.

I'm Chloe
