Getting ready to launch

Everyone is in pre-launch mode.  Dad has finished his physical therapy on his second knee and is doing GREAT.  When he washed the rig, he even climbed the ladder to give the roof a scrub.

We'll be slipping up the road with our shiny, clean surface that should give us great fuel mileage due to less wind resistance....or so Dad claims.

We've been making numerous trips in and out of the camper.  I told Momma she should have picked up some saddle bags for me so I could help carry things to take with us.  Don't forget my toys and dog treats.

Now how far did you say we are traveling on Monday?  Just into Georgia to Cain's Creekside Campground.  Well, I've been practicing resting quietly like I do in the backseat when we travel.

You won't hear a peep out of me until it is time to check out the new surroundings.

I think I'm going to miss taking a dip in my pond while we are on the road.  Maybe one of the campgrounds will have a dog pool.

I wonder if we will see any bears like we do at home. 

This guy didn't have any problem climbing the neighbor's fence.

I've been staying alert to make sure I don't miss our departure.  I almost flubbed up.  I am sooo excited about our departure that when Aunt Pam opened the door on her white Ram truck that was sitting in our driveway,  I was ready to load up.   OOPS  wrong white truck!!  I guess I'll wait until Monday and load up on OUR white Ram.

It's almost time to roll.  You'll hear more from me when we meander up the road......
