This is a great RV Park!!

Loads of grass with plenty of space around our rig and all well maintained.

I have been catching up on all that ball time I missed while at some of the parks with no grass or room for ball playing. Just look at the area behind our rig. And with so many sites being seasonal people (trailers on sites with no people there) and seeing as it is near the end of the season, we pretty much have the park to ourselves.

Dad said it may be the end of the season for campers, but it seems to be the season for stink bugs.....especially when the sun shines on us. I have been on bug spotting duty with great success, but it is sure wearing me out. When is a gal suppose to sleep?

Dad says those bugs are too stinky to slap with the bug swatter, so he just collects them with the vacuum. We definitely aren't going to let them share our home and travel with us!!

Yesterday, Momma and Dad headed to nearby Parkersburg, WV to check out the Oil & Gas Museum. The museum is housed in what was a hardware store at one time.

There were plenty of artifacts and great potential for a top notch museum, but due to the lack of a docent/guide to explain what you were looking at coupled with the mish-mash arrangement that resembled clutter, they won't be winning any awards for presentation. A video laid the background for oil in Burnt Springs.

They were actually hoping to gather salt, but found oil instead. And they really had no idea how to capture the gushing oil so it ran all over. They discovered it floated on the water so they could collect it off the water. The oil turned out to be a profitable discovery.
