Man oh man does it smell like a bakery here!  Momma didn't want the flour trip to be a total bust so she picked up a small bag of Whole Wheat Flour made by Robin Hood.  Today she grabbed the yeast out of the pantry, frowned when she looked at the July 2022 date but whipped up some dough anyway with that Robin Hood flour.  Just before noon, the rig had a wonderful aroma and Dad was smiling and smacking as he enjoyed the heel of one of the two loaves of wheat bread with some of Monica's honey.
This flour is marvelous to work with and makes much lighter... in both color and texture.... wheat bread.  As a matter of fact, Dad and Momma decided the bread was so good, that another trip into Canada was called for.  Momma used the ArriveCan app like a pro and received their 'permission to cross number'.  Dad pulled right up to the border crossing booth with all the necessary documentation so they were quickly approved to continue on to the store. Piece of cake!!  or maybe I should say 'slice of bread'?

Dad had to caution Momma about adding too much weight to the rig...and where are you going to put these bags of flour???  So the cart was only half full.

It really looked like things were all going in a positive direction today until.....in the middle of making dinner, the power went out.  I guess with the clothes dryer going, the electric water heater working, the AC units running, and the micro/convection spinning, it was just a tad too much for the available power.  Oh well,  it didn't take long to get dinner cooking once again.

I was kind of hoping they would leave some bread within snatching distance so I could submit my review.  They haven't been lax in quite a while allowing for snatches.  I guess it's good ole dog food once again tonight.

I'm Choe
