Wood Haven Campground
Halifax, NS
My Dad had to pull a MacGyver move...and of course it was successful. A couple of stops ago, he noticed that our dear, sweet Ram had a water leak in the Y behind the radiator. Of course the area we were currently residing in was more of a rural area so he made a temporary repair/patch with what he had available.
When we arrived in this area, the patch was giving out and it was definitely time for a REAL repair. Being savvy and cheap, he avoided the Dodge Dealership and went to Nova Scotia Diesel and Automotive who willingly did the repair. Dad's mouth dropped when they told him their hourly rate is $85 Canadian = $65.15 US. Such a low rate!! What a deal!!
Now his barber haircut was another story. He is used to the $7 cut at Big Al's but even when you convert the $23 Canadian to US, it cost him $10 more than he is used to paying at home.
Thank goodness I don't have to worry about hair cuts!!
I'm Chloe
