Summerfield, Fl
Happy Easter to everyone!
Today is a travel day for the Golden Triangle Campers who are still healthy enough plus have a schedule that will allow them to be on the road. Two campgrounds left on the caravan map and then everyone will meet up in Ocala for the April monthly campout.
As the Gunter Hill group pulled out this morning, they set their GPS to guide them to Eastbank Campground in Bainbridge, Georgia.
A trip of approximately 170 miles crossing back into Eastern Time. With the time zone line being so close to the campground, watches tend to flip back and forth between Central and Eastern time. The time zone line runs through the middle of the lake.
With the wet roads, it wasn't an ideal travel day.
And with the fuel prices still on the rise, it was a trip that dug a little deeper in everyone's wallet.
Bob and Reba joined back up with the threesome. After all, this is a drop-in, drop-out caravan.
Nice sites right on the water once again.
Oh Momma, look where they deciced to have dinner.
You could have enjoyed your favorite Sonny's bbq beans if you hadn't had to drop out and see a specialist for that nasty wound. I'm certain they would have made room for you and Dad at the table. But then you ate well today with your family, enjoying ham dinner that your daughter-in-law cooked. It was a great day for enjoying a meal with family on their back porch.I'm Chloe
