Turtle Lake CG site 165
Beulah, MI
Momma and I had a fight tonight over who got to use the computer....well, not a real fight....after all, it is her computer...but....she wanted to use the computer to make plans for tomorrow while I wanted to report on today's events. She made a valid point that it was a travel day today without incident and if she didn't scope out tomorrow's activities, I would have nothing of significance to report for today as well as tomorrow.
It's nice to be connected to 50 amp service and sewer once again. Momma has been rocking the washer/dryer ever since we landed. Our last location only had 30 amp hook up and it was a weak 30 as we discovered. We had just successfully spent four nights on 30 in Sault Ste Marie without incident but at Petosky, we flipped the breaker at least 3 different times without performing anything different from the prior 4 night stay. I guess it's a good thing we stayed only two nights at Magnus Park Campground.
Today's travel was just 88 miles but we were on the road a bit longer than expected due to a section of construction with a one lane/flagman hold up that was quite lengthy.
Our set up took us longer than usual today too. Our site is a L O N G pull thru grassy area with a section of dirt where prior occupants had killed the grass with a patio mat. Seeing as the site is so roomy, not only in length but in width, Momma and Dad had lots of options. They took their time analyzing and deciding exactly how to locate the rig to minimize the length of sewer hose while having the door and awning area remain grassy.
Did you notice how many times I used the word 'grass' in that last paragraph? I was having withdrawals from lack of ball playing. We had super close neighbors and no play area by the rig or even a dog park the last couple of days. I can assure you, I have made up for that today. I will probably have to cut this post short as I'm super tired. But I can make up for that tomorrow with a longer post because Momma has made plans for tomorrow's adventure.

My, what a small world. Beulah is where I use to live. Went to high school there. :)
