Too Organiized

March 9, 2019
Between trips

Well, as it turns out, you can be way too organized which can really complicate life.  Just ask Dad.  He has spent several days thinking....searching...and giving it more thought.  You see, not too long ago, the little gadget..about the size of a small TV remote...that he uses to check the propane level in the propane tanks quit working so Momma purchased a new one.
That bright shiny, silver gadget arrived in a quick turn around which is a good thing because with the cooler temps, we were using a bit of propane.  Dad was so pleased that it arrived in such a timely fashion and he has used it several times...until....he misplaced it.  The search was on.  The box in the bay was where the search began.
Then all the pockets were checked in every jacket that he might have worn.  Then a deeper, more in depth search of the bay which entailed removing everything in the bay so any crack and crevice created by the items in the bay could be searched. It just has to be hiding behind something.  WRONG!!

As Momma and Dad were taking an afternoon break on the patio while I was enjoying a swing with Dad, he finally admitted defeat and told Momma to order another one.  Two sips of coffee later and he had a vision.  Velcro.  He zipped out to the rig, opened the bay door and looked up at the ceiling of the bay.
And there it was....  that elusive shiny, silver gadget....mounted to the ceiling of the bay with some velcro.  Right there where it would be easily located without falling under or behind something as we jostle and bump our way up and down the highways.  In an inspirational moment of organization, he had stowed that gadget where he could grab it quickly.  Sometimes it just doesn't pay to be too organized.

Now while Dad was spending all his time searching, he didn't have much time to play Frisbee or ball with me.  I had to run around chasing my jug and entertaining myself.
I ran and ran and ran until I needed a cooling break.

Ahhh...I just LOVE a nice dip in the fish pond.
Don't I look just like one of those Florida gators?  You can just see eyes over the rocks.  Life is good!!
