Relocation Day from Montgomery to Demopolis

Demopolis, AL

Everyone needed time at the dump station at Gunter Hill so a staggered start was employed to avoid a long line up.  It was a delightful day for being on the road with fluffy clouds drifting in the blue sky overhead as we traveled 4-laned highway 80 to relocate to our next destination in Demopolis, Alabama.  Foscue Creek Campground is a beautiful park with paved, full hook-up sites.   Here's a view from our dining table window.

We were greeted by the Rock Stars at the check-in office

as well as the smiling attendee.  She was so sweet she even called to let us know that our site was available earlier than the recommended 4 pm arrival.  This park has a 3pm check out time, thus the 4 pm arrival time.  

That allowed us to have our happy hour at 3:30 for the occupants of the 9 rigs still caravaning together.

But happy hour took place after I had a chance to give my daily hello to my friends, Nadia and Sue.

The evening campfire gave Tim another chance to use his excellent toasting skills sharing marshmallows with everyone.

Almost ready to serve.....a nice golden brown.

Now why wasn't I invited to share those toasted marshmallow treats?  I have heard that they are sticky and gooey, but I would have kept all that mess out of my fur as I have a long tongue to snatch that toasted treat right into my mouth.
