Gathering of Rigs

May 9, 2020
Florida Classic Park

Momma and Dad sure have some fantastic friends...who have some fantastic dogs who love to play almost as much as I do.  We just spend a week on a 50 acre private property park getting rejuvenated.  Here's my friend Sue.
She's a gentle giant...yep, a Great Dane.  We had some pretty good romps.  I guess Momma failed to capture a pic of my friend Bella who loved to run with me.  She's smaller than me but as fast as I am.

And when the four legged got tired, I went around to the two legged until I found someone willing to toss my jug for me to fetch.

Sometimes it was hard to find someone who would play with me as they were busy themselves playing Boccie, Ladder Golf, Washer Toss or Corn Hole.

I really had my doubts that they would be playing Ladder Golf.

Just setting the game up took lots of hands and head scratching, but in the end, they managed to get all the pieces connected.
And of course no gathering of rigs would be complete without a project or two.
Everything from a minor repair to the challenge of de-bugging the car and rig after an encounter of love bugs while traveling on the highway.  Thank goodness love bugs only visit twice a year and for about two weeks each time.  They are so acidic that they will remove paint if you don't wash them right off.  And of course they can really interfere with visibility on the windshield.

Working together, the jobs got knocked out quickly!

Yep, it was a great week of camaraderie with good people and their pets.

My only complaint was they didn't want to share their redneck waffles with me.
I thought I had that problem solved when I tried to help myself to a plate being balanced on a lap.  Boy did I get in trouble over that move!!

Wish you all could have joined us.....

I'm Chloe
PS:  If you travel early, you can avoid those love bugs!!
